Bought under a year ago battery quit, new battery installed now scale doesnt work. doesnt speak well of manufacture.

Lithium battery supposed to last a "lifetime". My scale stopped working in less than 1 year. I weigh 150# so it wasn't overworked. This is the second one that has stopped working. I will certainly go back to the old spring style scale, they may be off by a few pounds but they do last a "lifetime".
