I bought mine over a year ago and don't regret it. Still using the same first bulb it came with (let me state that I don't use it everyday as I don't put on makeup everyday). I did purchase additional replacement bulbs from Conair to have on hand if and when the bulb does burn out.
I purchased the mirror because it was the only round mirror Conair had to choose from that had the 7x magnification which was the top criteria for me. Also, I placed on the flat side of the mirror a small 10x round mirror that attaches with suction cups. It doesn't cover all of the flat side; leaving me just enough to still see. This 10x mirror is excellent for plucking eyebrows or applying liner. I need glasses to do anything up close and detailed and this small mirror really does the trick. But I still wanted the 7x side to apply other makeup not needing as much detail. I guess I'm saying Conair should manufacture a mirror with 3 sides: flat, 7x and 10x. LOL
My only grief with this mirror is the on/off. Drives me insane!!! You just touch it and it comes on and then you have to touch it 3x more turn it back off. When you are putting on makeup and you just slightly touch it, the lighting will change. Then you have to touch it 3x more to get it back to where you had the lighting set. Very frustrating. I finally made a small cover for the base out of a frozen sherbert container as a way to prevent the base from being accidentally touched. Not perfect but it works.
Wish Conair would offer a round, 7x mirror with an on/off BUTTON but this was the closest they had.

For everyone wanting bulbs. [$] carrys replacement bulbs for Conair. I have purchased them there for 2 different mirrors.

Good mirrors although expensive for what they are. Bulbs don't last and replacements are hard to fine --- if they exist. Conair should sell replacement bulbs. Have 2 mirrors and no bulbs.

Very expensive but works great. Bulb could be a little brighter. Bulbs are VERY EXPENSIVE AND HARD TO FIND!!

Would be perfect if I could find a bulb to replace it as it fits my decor perfect in terms of color and syyle to leave on a counter. Crazy to have to ourchase a new mirror due to a bulb!
