Quit working after a few months, checked power through the switch OK, bulb OK so it must be the transformer that went bad.

This is a great mirror- I have gotten so used to it that I can't put my makeup on without it. It magnifies great and the three magnification settings make it ideal to do just about anything (i.e. plucking pesky brows, applying eyeliner, or just checking your makeup).
BUT: The bulb went out after two months and I have NO IDEA how to find a replacement or fix it! It was not easy to install, either, so this task seems especially daunting.

I use this mirror each day for make-up application. Half the time my husband is checking himself out in it. We are getting one for our Northern home.
Please consider more finishes for this mirror.
