I had a perfectly good drier but was at my sister's and used this one and had to have it. It dries very quickly. I haven't run into any problems when I shut it off. I find it perfect.

This Conair dryer so far has been the best I've had. I mostly use it for home use and ALWAYS take it with me on trips. (I hate those dryers in hotel rooms; very wimpy). I've tried many dryers but this by far always had the best air power than any other dryer on the market. I always come back to this site to order this model because I can't seem to find it in stores. However this is the second time the heat and air flow control knobs have broken.

I have thick hair and this dryer works very quickly. [...] When you turn the dryer off, it won't turn back on for about 5 mins. Other than that, it's great.

The only real complaint is that if you shut it off while in the middle of using it, it shuts off for a while and will not turn back on until IT is ready. I've had 6 or 7 of these driers and they've all done the same thing!
