The dryer works great. I have only traveled with it a couple of times, but prior to traveling with it (which means it had only been stored under the bathroom sink and used daily) the button for the cord retraction broke. The cord still retracts, but I have to reinsert the button each time and push it using two hands. The cord retracting mechanism is great and works fine, the hair dryer is great. But evidently money was saved on the switch! Buyer beware!

Loved the retractable cord for easy storage. Did a great job drying my hair and the cold shot button is convienent. Had it less than a year and it died. Pretty bad since I've had less expensive hair dryers that have lasted 8+ years.

I used it everyday, very disappointed it stopped working in less then a years time. I've had other Conair dryers that lasted over six years. Also, the cord would retract very fast or not at all.

I found myself in the hair dryer aisle, wanting something that was ionic, and a cord keeper, and possibly folded for travel, and this fit the bill! I do wish it came with a concentrator, but since I have limited storage space this works well enough!

I liked the appeal of having something that can fold and that you can retract the cord but the problem I had was that when you actually pull the cord out, it's pretty short (it can't reach the 2 feet from the outlet to see myself in the mirror in my room while I'm drying my hair. Also, one of my friends was playing with the retractable cord and pulled it out a tiny bit too far and now it doesn't retract all the way and that was only after a week of having it. In addition, it never fully dries my hair. I was not very happy with this hair drier.

Great concept, but the push button release for the cord rewind mechanism is weak. I have owned 2 Cord Keeper's and the button split across the middle and broke off of the shaft on both of them. But I like the retractable cord and folding handle, because the dryer fits conveniently into a drawer in the bathroom with no tangled or twisted cords.

I bought this product to replace my old Conair blow dryer. The day after I bought it I returned it. It seemed to be blowing luke warm/cool air... definitely not hot or even warm. It took forever (it seemed) for my hair to get dryer. I will not buy this model again.

I had just contacted Conair about my dryer that keeps shorting out and then read the reviews. It seems that I am not the only one that is having this problem. I love this dryer, though, and hope that Conair does something about it. This is my second dryer in 6 months. I will not buy another Conair dryer until they fix this. I am afraid that this can pose a fire hazard, or that I can be electrocuted.

The cord keeper is a great feature for both keeping the home bathroom tidy and for traveling. I like that the dryer comes with a diffuser and concentrator, too. But after four months of use, it just up and quit. Other conair dryers I've had have lasted a long time, so I was disappointed to not have had that same experience this time.

I bought my Conair a year ago. I like the size, the power, and the dual voltage. It's a bit noisy, with a whine. It worked great until about a month ago, when it began cutting out so that I have to wiggle the cord to get it to start again. Also, while the retractable cord is nice, the button broke in half after about six months, just with normal use.

I've used this dryer for about a year and it gave out. My husband found that the plug quit working and he couldn't get into it to see if a wire came loose, so he put a new plug on. Now it works. But my last dryer lasted at least 8 years probably longer. I don't know if I'll buy another one or not.

I bought this travel blower to replace a ConAir Travel blower of which I had used for many years, and it finally gave out. I have never owned a hair blower that has lasted so long!! So, it was obvious that I was going to replace it with the same quality product!! And ConAir has even improved on it!! I have another bigger ConAir blower that I have had for more years than I can count, so it goes without saying that ConAir is the BEST!!!

This is my second one. Only bought a new one because I needed to take my old one to our other house so I didn't have to keep carting it around. I love the cord keeper. It does a great job of drying also. When folded the size is also great. A bit loud when turned on though. But what hair dryer isn't? You can't find a better hair dryer for the price. Bottom line, I love this hair dryer and would definitely buy another one.
