I have only had this dryer for a little over a year and this morning it quit blowing hot air. I did like the look of the dryer except for the fact that I kept changing the heat setting everytime I picked it up, the controls are just not in a good place.

This dryer worked great for about 8 months. Now, it only blows luke warm air. It takes forever to dry my hair now. Definitely didn't get my money's worth.

I only went in to buy a diffuser for my old hair dryer but I saw this one and it seemed so professional looking with so many new options I got one. It dried my hair so quickly and made it so shiny with the diffuser. I haven't tried the straightening attachment but I'm looking forward to it!

I've had this dryer for about a year. I have very thin curly hair that frizzes and breaks/burns easily, so I wanted to try something new. This ionic blowdryer is fantastic. It has cut my drying time almost in 1/2 and my hair dries smooth and frizz free... and very little breakage. I love it!!!!

When my brother broke my first 1875 Watt Ceramic Ionic Styler by Conair, I knew immediatley that I would be purchasing this dryer again.

Here is why:

The dryer dries my thick hair in under 10 minutes. Other dryers I have used in the past would puff up my hair, and add frizz to it. With the 1875 Watt Ceramic Ionic Styler by Conair I have no problem when it comes to frizz or poofy hair.

I adore the fact that it works so quickly, while leaving my hair soft, and easy to style after it's dry.

The ionic technology eliminates frizz, and will not add poof.

The 3 heat setting are perfect for those with thin to thick hair. I have thick hair, so I always use the highest setting. The results are always flawless.
I love the cool shot as well. I recommend you dry your hair at the desired setting, and then use the cool shot for about a minute. This adds tons of shine!

Overall, I could not be happier. I pray that this model never dissapears, because it is my all time favorite.

Coming from someone with such thick and frizzy hair naturally, the 1875 Watt Ceramic Ionic Styler by Conair has been nothing but a bad hair day blessing.

My last conair was an 1875 watt and it dried my hair so quick and really reduced the frizz. This one doesn't get hot enough for my thick hair, makes my hair frizzy, and it is HEAVY to hold. I wouldn't buy this again.

I got this hair dryer about 1 week ago, And I have always loved Conair Hair Dryers. My last dryer was a Conair and it died after about 10 years....yes 10 years and I bought this model and I was not surprised at how well it dries my thick hair.

Wow! I can't believe how quickly it dried my hair, just about two minutes, on low heat and low speed,. I have medium length hair, touches my shoulders on the sides and goes down my back a few inches. I also used the ionizer feature and my hair came out much shinier than it ever did with a hair dryer.

The only problem I have with it is that it's kind of heavy for me to hold up for very long. I have Buerger's disease which causes severe cramping in my hands and arms if I bend my arms for very long, but I still give this hairdryer 5 stars because it worked so quickly that the pain didn't have time to set into my arms.

I was looking for a hair dryer that would give a medium speed but hot air and this has no medicum speed and weven withthe turbo switched on, the air is barely warm and makes my hair difficult to style. I have always had good luck with Conair products and i will return this one to [...] and resume my search for a new dryer. I would recommend trying it out at the store.
