I have the original "Big Curls" rollers set I purchased years ago. I love this unit. When my rollers started to look bad, I wanted to get another set but none of the stores were carrying this specific product. I went online and nothing. My sister-in-law called me to let me know that she found one. I am so happy to get my third set of this product.

I am on my 3rd set...ditto on top of case, I learned with my last set to go ahead and wrap the lid with duct tape as well as around the hinge. I can still open & close, but did solve my problem. I take it to the gym every morning, getting ready to buy another to keep there. like everyone else, I wish it was in a slim, 5 row style. As far as the clips, I am fine with them, they serve a dual purpose, I use them to separate my hair into sections for styling w/ dryer & brush. Overall I would recommend to anyone, just know that the lid durability is poor.

I like this curler set very much. The rollers are the perfect size and heat up quickly. I am on my second set and BOTH lids have cracked in the middle. The curlers still work but it is frustrating to have a cracked case. I wish you had the jumbo rollers in the soft travel case.

This is a fantastic product! It is very difficult to find a good quality, jumbo roller travel hairsetter. I own two of these hairsetters, plus a full-size jumbo hairsetter, and they have lasted forever. I use the hairsetters for travel and everyday use. I have packed the unit in both my checked and carry-on luggage, with never a problem except that the bulky design makes it extremely awkward to pack and therefore it takes up more room than necessary. This year in the hopes of consolidating my packing, I managed to find and purchase a competitor's more packing-friendly, travel jumbo roller set. Well, the quality and performance were terrible; so bad that the hairsetter was discarded halfway through the trip!!! Lesson learned! Even though I hate the current bulky design, I will continue to purchase this hairsetter as needed. I only hope that it is eventually manufactured with a different case. The results are absolutely awesome!! The dual-voltage, quick heat-up time, gentle-to-hair rollers, and great results make this unit a joy to use! The quality and performance are absolutely the BEST of anything else on the market. However, I strongly agree with all of the other reviews. While the product is amazing, but WHY NOT a single row design of 5 jumbo rollers and the wire clips?!? These changes would truly make this product travel-worthy and absolutely perfect!

I love how these rollers work on my hair, which is long and wavey. Within 10 minutes from start to finish. I have great results.

Unfortuately, the lid cracks I believe from the heat. I am on my third set. Great to have the extra rollers when I need more then five, though a bit costly to keep replacing because the lids keep cracking and breaking off. Therefore,
I will not buy another set until the lid is re-designed- updated. I use tin foil to keep the heat in for now. Works just fine. PLEASE FIX THE LID!

This is my third set and I've just ordered another. I mostly wreck them with travel (the lid is perpertually cracked by the airlines)but even though they don't look the "best" they are "the best" for thick, straight hair in climates that reach 100% humidity. Conair - please keep this series in your line-up. Few products get me to keep coming back for years!

Please change the case design. I love the rollers and have a set permanently devoted to travel. However, the chunky design makes it obnoxious to pack. It is totally unforgiving. In frustration, I ripped off the plastic top and covered the rollers with a hotel showercap to keep them from falling out in my suitcase. Don't change anything except the shape. I'd like a single line that lays along the side of a suitcase.

I love these curlers and can't remember the year I bought them. I have others but none compare to these. I need a new one because the lid broke and I am using aluminum foil to cover. I will not buy any other curlers till these come back in stock. I Love the size. They are just perfect for my long thick straight hair. It holds a set all day, and looks great! I have no problem at all with the plastic clips, in fact I like them better, they stay in my thick heavy hair better. All the metal ones have just fell out. These are the best curlers any one will ever buy and I have looked all over to replace my set. Help!Everything is still great, just the lid. I have a larger set, but curlers are not as large, and this is just what you need for a quick set- 5 curlers! Its great for traveling, fits everywhere. On a few bad hair days I took it to work just in case I needed a quick pick up, it sets so quickly.

I like to use this product, but don't understand why the wire clips are not included with the product at the time of purchase. The plastic clips leave marks in my hair and can't use them, therefore have to order the wire ones. Additionally, you can't purchase the wire ones at the store or on-line and only via mail? Not so efficient when company has an on-line shopping catalog.

I love this set. I've had two of them and need to get another one. I use it Everyday for my thick, naturally curly hair and people cannot believe that my hair is curly. It straightens and eliminates frizz and gives a beautiful style. I bought my first set about 15 years ago and the cover broke and the tips wore off of the metal clips. I bought another set and have used it for a very long time. The cover got Smashed while on an airline flight. The rollers are losing the flocking which makes the rollers HOT to hold but I still use them! I hope Conair Never discontiues this item. I need my third set but they are out of stock right now and hopefully will have more soon. Also, I prefer the old metal clips over the plastic super clips. (The super clips do not hold thick hair well)It would be nice if they would offer replacement rollers and/or clips.

This product actually has a space for the wire clips, yet only came with the super clips. The super clips leave kinks in my hair. I am trying to find wire clips; Conair evidently doesn't offer these online. Whomever suggested that the super clips are better than the wire clips did not have naturally straight, fine hair.

I love these rollers BUT this is about the 3rd or 4th time I have had to purchase new ones b/c of the terrible design of the case. Its hard plastic and if you travel or drop or do anything out of the ordinary with them the lid breaks! So I have about 2-3 sets of perfect rollers with broken, unusable cases. It's terrible! Very bad design! Please please Conair Design Team: please make a more travel friendly case. If you do you will never keep these rollers on the shelves! They would be perfect!

I absolutely love this set of curlers. I just wish that they were easier to find in stores! I bought this set at a drugstore about 3 years ago and haven't been able to find them since, other than online. They heat up fast, easy to use and great for travel. The size of the rollers are awesome since they are big. The case cracked on my set however this was after having them for about 2 years! They are very durable. I still use this set but think its time for a new one! I hope this products never gets discontinued.

Do you know how difficult it is to find a travel hairsetter with jumbo rollers?! This hairsetter is perfect for giving hair a youthful lift and polish while on the road (and at home too).....no tight little "I've just set my hair" look. The dual voltage makes life easy and the unit heats up quickly. There is absolutely no damage to hair with daily use. My one comment (hope the design team is listening) is that I would prefer it if the case could be more packable...ie. rollers in a single row, perhaps in a soft-sided case. I have been reluctant to pack it in my checked luggage because I don't want to crack the case. Love this hairsetter, though, and will probably buy a spare. GREAT product - Thanks Conair!!!

This set has just the right number and size rollers. They heat up quickly and stay in well. I bought my first set of these roller years ago. They are still working, but the lid cracked. When I found more several years ago, I bought one set for a friend and two for myself (one for travel; one for home). I hope Conair never discontinues this item and keeps the quality.

I bought my first set in 1999. Seven years later I have to replace them. My only reason for purchasing a new one is that I have dropped them one to many times and have a missing lid due to it breaking when I dropped it. I'm impressed with how my hair looks just as great with it's many years of use as well as having no lid. This product is like the duracell battery, "it keeps going and going". This is the only hairsetter I will use.

I have been using conair jumbo rollers for over a decade! I am ordering my 3rd set of Jumbo rollers from Conair. I have medium to long hair, that is somewhat frizzy. I can't find another manufacturer who has this size roller - it is not too tight and not too large. They heat up fast and the velvet fabric on the roller does not damage my hair the way a curling iron or flat iron does.
I have recommended them many times, and my friens love them.
Plus - 5 large rollers is plenty to give me the perfect wave/curler without looking over done.
This is a great product.

I have been using these rollers for however long they have been made. I have been horrifird not to find any on the shelves in my area. So, I am in the process of ordering a dozen sets just in case they are ever discontinued. Also my 5 daughters use these. I do prefet the older metal U clips to the big plastic ones (they tend to leave creases if you aren't careful). On any stlye cut, or length---- 5 minutes to a great head of hair.
