The Conair Hair Removal System was given to me as a Christmas gift about five years ago, and I have used it since then. I find it gentle for the skin on my legs and far better than using a razor. I have had diabetes mellitus for 44 years and healing of razor cuts takes a long period of time due to peripheral neuropathy. This product eliminates the cuts! Since it also exfoliates, my skin is silky smooth even during the cold winter months. I highly recommend this to all women, particularly those with medical issues such as mine.

This product is a miracle facial resurfacer if used with extreme caution. Only use replacement pads that have been used for leg hair removal and are worn down to a safe/fine grit. You can change the texture of your aging facial skin by lightly and carefully using the product once every 2-3 weeks for a short period, on low speed and lightly and evenly going over your facial skin. Use a hydration product afterwards, like Theraplex, which is used by dermatologists after a light chemical peel, since your skin will be slightly red, the same as with a $600 doctor-visit. The results will be the same (I know because of many visits to the determatoloist) without the high cost of a doctor's visit. I would give anything for a more compact version of this product with a smaller head and smaller replacement pads that have a finer grit, specifically made for facial resurfacing, with explicit directions so that it can be used safely and effectively.

I have used this product for two years regularly and loved it. I have VERY hairy legs and this product does the job. When my physically challenged child (She has muscle control issues) turned 14 we started using it for her, too. It is safer than a razor, and I do not worry about her using it herself. The hair removal creams can cause burns if left on too long, but she knows not to hold this in any one spot very long.

I purchased this product over a year ago and it is wonderful! Instead of shaving my legs I use the Conair Hair Removal pads. They are also great for anyone that has that so called "Chicken Skin". You know, the raised red or black bumps on your backs of your arms, legs, and buttom. It smoothes it out as well! It is great for treating that condition.
