Great for touchups between blow drys. Restores the smooth loose curl look I love. Great for permed hair to give it a non - permed smooth look.

The only negatives are that some hair gets caught in the base, and also the cord should be thicker. It seems flimsy.

This is the only curling iron that works for my fine, very curly hair. I use it to smooth and control my frizzy curls - it works great because it gets so hot and is made well. I've tried other cheap curling brushes and they don't work on my hair because they don't get hot enough. Plus, the extra wide barrel helps smooth down my curls. My only concern is that I cannot find this iron in stores (only online through Conair -thanks goodness!). Why is it not sold in stores anymore - please don't discontinue this wonderful iron Conair!

I have struggled with thin fine hair all of my life. Regular curling irons just weren't working because they left ridges where the clip held the hair, yes it is that fine. I was desperate when I needed a new curling iron, a few years back and could only find brush style ones with very small barrels. These big barrel brushes are NOT sold in stores anymore. Believe it or not, my children suggested that I Google search for a 1 1/2 inch brush barrel and the Conair website came up!!! This is my 2nd set, I order 2 at a time so I'll always have one. Now my sister is ordering them as well and she has great hair! PLEASE don't ever discontinue these

When my original curler died after several years, I freaked out because I couldn't find another one of these ANYWHERE! So, I settled for a hot air curling brush that never came anywhere near doing the great job that this one does. It never dawned on me to check the Conair website, as I just assumed they were not making them anymore since I couldn't find them in any stores, but am I glad I finally did check the site! I always keep an extra on hand now just in case Conair stops making them eventually, which I hope and pray they NEVER do. Nothing else will do for me! Highly recommend!!!

I had purchased this product in a store years ago and when it quit working after several years, I couldn't find it in any stores. I panicked and went online to Conair and found it. I bought two so I'd have one for years to come. I just opened my second one only because I dropped the first one on ceramic tile and broke the top off. It was still working perfectly when I dropped it. I am ordering another one so I always have a back up. Thank-you for this wonderful product. I wish it was still in stores, but I'm very happy to be able to order it online.

I have used this brush since the beginning of time. I keep two of these on hand (and one of the 3/4" brush) - just in case Conair decides to have a lapse in stock or production! This did happen to me. I burned my first one out because I didn't know that a transformer was not needed when using this brush in Europe. Back home, I was unable to replace the 1-1/4" brush, so I bought the 3/4" brush (which I use when I have short hair.) Months later, Conair re-stocked this item - by which time I was on a first name basis with 'Connie from Conair' in Customer Service; I bought two. I also tried the ceramic brush - no! Even though the ceramic bristles are shorter, they touch my scalp, and it is a painful burn. So, it's this brush and me for the rest of my life. To Conair - please remember that there is no need to improve on perfection. Please! don't try!

Easy to use and heats instantly (just as it claims). I've used this iron for many years and now need to have one at the office for touch-ups. I looked at all the stores; discount, drug, beauty, etc. and couldn't find this particular model anywhere. Thank goodness you still have it and sell through the website. I rely on it daily and I don't know what I would do without it. The 1-1/4 inch diameter is perfect for my chin length bob (the 1 inch is too small). It gives my freshly washed hair the body and curve it needs and is great for touch-ups too. No marks like you can get from regular curling irons. Just heat, brush through your hair and go. So easy.

I have used the same curling iron for over 10 years. I need a new one only because the brissels are breaking off and I need to clean in between the brissels and it isn't possible as I can't submerge the curling iron under water. I have spent many $$$'s to find a product like this and have been disappointed until someone told me to buy this one. I have curly hair that also frizzs until Conair-----what an invention this is!!! I LOVE LOVE this product and will always buy a back up just in case Conair stops making it again. My hair looks gorgeous! Just like I left a salon everyday! And it is not dry and works better than a flat iron too. I can have body or straight with volume. Conair keep this forever please!!!!!!!

I can't find this brush in stores anymore, so I have to order it online...Conair, please please don't stop offering it. I have thin hair and this brush adds volume without too-tight curls. I have never been able to handle a curling iron properly - the brush is much easier to use. And the instant heat helps me so much when it's a busy morning. Can't recommend it highly enough!

I took this on a recent professional trip to Switzerland, and it was the absolute best!!! It heated up quickly, was good with the international voltage ( you do need a plug converter, but that's all) and was so wonderful for quick touch ups after rain etc. I have thick, long, curly hair that frizzes easily, and I have never had so many people come up to me and comment on how beautiful my hair was! I am ordering another just to keep ready in my travel bag! I highly recommend this. I have a graveyard of hair appliances that are o.k., but this one is by far the best!

I used this product for many years and wore out several of them but always purchased the exact curling brush as a replacement. This is the only hot brush that ever worked on my thick, course, curly/wavy, frizzy hair. When I used this brush I could style my hair anyway that I wanted and my hair was always soft, beautiful and healthy looking no matter what length my hair was. I love to change my style and my hair length but when Conair stopped making this tool I was forced to grow my hair long enough to keep it in a pony tail or use a flat iron to control it which eventually damaged my hair. I recently cut my hair to get rid of the damage forgetting why I had it long in the first place and my fuzzy head sent me to the internet to find something that might work. I'm excited beyond words that Conair is making this hot brush again and that I will have gorgeous hair again. I can't wait for it to be delivered. I have a problem with my left hand and I'm unable to use my hot rollers, having my hot brush is my life saver. My last Conair hot brush lasted 10 years and when it died I went crazy trying to find a new one. My favorite features you can control how hot your brush will become and the brush has a cooling tip. A family member purchased a professional hot brush for me after the first use I returned it there was not a cooling tip and I managed to burn the tip of my fingers.

You can NOT find this size barrel in the stores anywhere! The curling brushes available now have the nylon bristles and blow hot air which just creates static in my hair. I am now on my third curling brush and cannot do without it. I told my sister about it (she uses it daily, too) and bought one for my daughter (daily use). We all have very fine hair and this brush is perfect. The brushes with finer bristles just create static electricity in our hair. The regular curling irons crimp our hair and it looks funny. No other product will do! The 1 1/4" size is perfect, too! Please do not ever stop making this!

I used it like I would a flat iron, yet it gave me the curl on the end that I wanted in one step instead of two. It takes half the time because of how hot it gets. The only caution I give is that because of how hot it gets, be careful not to burn yourself. I absolutely love that you made this curling brush with a bigger barrel, that's what I needed for my long hair. Thanks, I'm ordering one after using my daughters.

I love this and have been using it for years. Its true however, the cord near the base does thin out and copper wires get exposed and out it goes. Wish this wouldn't happen, would be nice if maybe some type of protection could be added to prevent this from happening. Would not give up this curling brush for anything.

This is a GREAT product with the exception that the bristles break off too easily. Extra bristles should be included with the original purchase.

This product is very good for straighten hair as well as producing large loose curls that have have staying power as well as creating volume.

I had my first hot brush for at least 7 years and loved it. I used it everyday. I knew the day would come when I would wear it out so I have been looking for a replacement for the past year. (I never could find it in the stores.) Today, I noticed the power cord near the iron had become weak and the copper wires were exposed. I am thrilled that this product is still being made! For anyone who HATES regular curling irons because of the odd crimp it puts in your hair and because of the difficult angles you have to bend your arm to use it without burning yourself, you really need to give this one a try. The hard bristles allow you to get close to your scalp without burning yourself.

I don't know what I would do without this curling brush. I'm on my second one in 12 years, and it is by far the best styling aid I have ever used! I can style my hair very quickly because it gets really hot (at the higher settings) and it's big enough to be able to handle a big section of hair with each curl. Love it!!

I am an Afro-America & have been platinum/silver blonde since I was 22 years old. My hair is very soft semi-curly with a tendency to scorch. I have used this product for 8 years now. At the first use, I went and bought a spare. My spare just went out and I feared this product was no longer available as you can't find it in the stores. You can't imagine my joy when I found it online. I really can't style my hair without this product. This is seriously the best piece of hair equipment I own. A blow dryer to me, is a blow dryer, but this iron is honestly irreplace-able to me. I couldn't do my hair without it. I went on vacation and forgot it, I tried out one that my sister-n-law had, and it was junk compared to this. You can't go wrong. You don't have to have your hair perfectly combed to use it either. It can be kind of tossled and it will still turn out fantastic. No unusual kinks ever. I can't say enough wonderful things about it....
