I bought this years ago and loved it...til I finally wore it out. I have owned it for 6 years! It is the only iron I have found that shines, straightens with body and de-frizzes my hair. I have fine hair but a ton of it and it allows me to get it done with out the frizz! I am ordering another one!

I had this straightener and I broke it, but when I went to buy a new one, all I could find was a flat iron. I have been using it for three days and my hair does not look nearly as good as with this product. I like the ends of my hair to turn under and the flat iron cannot do that nearly as well as this iron could. I am ordering a new one of these curved irons today!

I love this straightener. I have really thick hair, and I used to use a really big curling iron as a straightener, so the ends would lay under, but this does the trick so much better. I have had mine for 3 years, and am now buying a back up, just in case! I don't want it to get discontinued without having a second one.

I have very thin and flat hair. This iron allowed me to create volume in my hair without having to make it "curly". I change my hairstyle about every six months and it has worked on every style so far - whether flipped up or curved under. I have had two in the last 2 1/2 years. The first one lasted a little over a year, the same for the second one which I am still using.

I love this straightener because it heats up really fast and quickly straightens, with only one time through hair. It glides smoothly through hair without friction and leaves hair very smooth. I like that it's versatile, where you can leave ends straight or flip them since the straightener is curved. I had mine 2 and a half years with no problems, but the heating element just went out on it. 2 1/2 years with no problems is great for the inexpensive price. I hope they get back in stock soon because I have not been able to find a product I like as well.

I love this product. It was the best thing I've ever found for my fine straight hair. It gave body to my hair and I got lots of compliments. However, one morning while styling my hair, it went cold and would not heat up. I had only had it for 6 months, and now, I can't find another one anywhere!!! I need another one or two (in case the first one goes out). I'm desperate to find another one because when it worked, it worked great!!

I have extremely thick hair that is so thick I Have it layered in three different layers. I use this iron to give my thick straight hair a little volume and to curl it. No other iron I have tried can curl my hair the way this one does and I LOVE it. It has wet and dry settings, heats up almost instantly, and the ceramic plates are easy to clean. I highly recommend this product.

I purchased this product more than 2 years ago and couldn't be happier. Just had to share my success with those who are trying to decide to take the leap. I get consistent results every time in all kinds of weather. My hair stays silky and smooth until my next shampoo. Great on wet hair, too. But be careful of the steam if you straighten wet hair close to the scalp. Only one CON: There is no dot on the outer ring of the temperature dial and the numbers are small.

This product by far are the greatest i've ever tried. I already used the same product for two years now. And already bought it 3 times, because for some reasons, it always broke within only 1 year or less. I'm from outside U.S, but my family always travel their routine business trip to U.S. so i always manage them to search and bought the new one for me. LOVE IT!!!! My hair is so thin that it won't hold a curl. This hot iron dose the trick and even makes my hair look fuller. I also use it on my daughters hair, (who has super curly hair.) It's the only hot iron that strightens and dosen't leave behind the frizz. My best friend always tries to take it everytime she comes to visit. She says it dose great on her super thick hair.
This is a super versatile hot iron. It's made for hair type, wet or dry. I haven't been able to find one to compare to it. Works so great I own 2!!!

i was using remington wet to straight which i had for 3 years and i loved it well i wasnt even looking for another straightner and i saw this one in the store and i thought it would be so cool for the fact it has the curve so you can flip your hair out or curve it in. i was very disappointed because it didnt heat up fast enough and i have many conair products that are wonderful ive had it for probably 2 months now and im going to go get something diffrent but your new straightner the conair steam straightner looks awesome!

I have very thick, curly, poofy hair. Other straightners I have used made it like a drag for me so I just wear my hair curly. I baught this one and it was amazing. Eazy made my hair straightning hour turn into about 20 mins which is a great improvement. The only thing I had mine for just a few months and the red paint started chipping off of the plates. My hair wouldn't keep the flip action that the straightner was made to do. My hair after using this product was beautiful for about 2 hours then the rest of the night flyaways started to show and my hair was tangly.

I have owned this straightener for over a year now and it is FABULOUS! Unfortunately it broke this morning and I am hunting frantically online to see where I can get another one! I have naturally straight hair and have never really done anything with it. One night my husband and I went out and I used my daughter's straightener for the first time. I loved it. I just bought this one, and I love it too. I adds just a little flip if you want it, or a lot if you like. Or you can just go straight. Best of all you really don't even need to comb it out when you're done. Just run your fingers through, spray, and go. Does get a little hot though, so use a heat product to protect.

I have hard hair to control. Also eveytime I use a iron my hair has so much frizz I have to put so many products in it. I tried like 5 different irons and this one was my last option. I was so happy I chose to use this. The price is not that bad at all for a great product. I have never had a problem with this iron and I have only used this one kind of iron for that last 3 years.

I love this straightener. It heats up quick and adds flip to the bottom of my hair without a curling iron, while smoothing fly-aways. It has dramatically decreased my styling time. But, mine just stopped working after about a year and a half which seems to be a common problem with this product. It was only about [$] so for that price and everything it does for me I'm okay with having to buy a new one every couple years.

I've been a stylist for 17 years and I have not come across a flat iron like this one. I love using it so much because I can use it on so many of my clients. The curved blades are so versatile and can be used for so many styles. I do wish it could get a little hotter though. I have actually recommended this iron to many of my clients because of how easy it is to use. Great product!

My hair is extremely course and thick. I use this product right after I wash my hair - I don't even use a blow dryer anymore. This product definitely cuts down on styling time. I have not found anything comparable to it as of yet. I love it!

I had really bad damaged hair and I found a fantastic hair dresser who has done wonders for my hair in the past year. She uses a wet/dry straighter and so I purchashed one for myself for home use. This model is easy to use, heats up quickly, does the job on either wet or dry hair. It straightens my hair, and is so smooth and gentle on the hair, I can run my fingers thru it and dont even need to comb it when I am done. Love it!!!

The product heats ups up fast and it works but for some reason after only a year it stopped heating up. I called Customer Care and asked for a replacement, they were very helpful and sent the replacement fast! But the next one that came in smelled burning plastic when heated, it was so awful that I couldn't use it. Called customer Service again and they were awsome, talked to Mary and she will send a replacement again and learned that postage to mailback is refunded! Talk about an ideal CS. I'm now a ConAir fan!

I had a flat Hair Straightener from Conair and Loved it thought that I had lost it so I bought this one due to the quality of my last one and this one had the curve to add a flip at the end of my hair. Unfortunately it does not seem to provide the heat that my other one did. IF this could be improved I would adore this straightener. Found my other one little sister "borrowed" itAnd I am now back to using the older one. I do love the swivel cord and the feel of this striaghtener just wish it produced the heat and silky feel that the other one did. This one seems to take about 3 times the amount of time to get the same results.

All my life, I've been known to have extremely thick and curly hair. I've even been harassed and called names cause of my thick hair.
I would of done anything to have straight hair!

I purchased this and I was amazed to be able to run my fingers through my hair without tangles. I feel so confident and I now can love my hair! I have a lot of hair, so it takes about an hour for me to get my hair to the way I want it.
