I haven't seen my dentist in 4 years. Why? Because I use Interplak's oral irrigator after every time I eat something. It's very simple. If there is no food for bacteria in my mouth to feed on, they can't proliferate. These guys have reinvented personal oral hygiene. Don't listen to idiot reviewers who talk about knobs falling off or how it starts. This product is innovative, solves an ancient problem of the clean mouth and has saved me thousands of dollars in dentist visits.

I would not recommend this product. hard for motor to get started for water to empty out of tank. I have had since April 2008 and need to replace it. Poor quality.

Comments about Conair Dental Water Jet:
Tank valve fell off within 1 month, not well designed. Tips are constantly falling of their slots when not in use. Hard to grab base to pull off Tank. Tank lift lid and hose are located in same spot, and their fighting each other, need to seperate the two. This is NOT like they use to make them.

All aspects of this product are great. The only draw back is the ability to purchase additional tips.
