I clean the barrel with baking soda, looks like new. I want the same iron in 1". I use my iron every day, it gets hotter than most irons. Some teeth break, but can be replaced.

I've never been able to master the art of using a curling iron. So I've always used a hot brush to style my hair. When I found this model I was very very happy with the results I got.
It heats up quickly, which is especially useful on those "gosh I over slept days" and the multiple heat settings lets me find the temperature that works just right for my hair.

For the price, I love the Instant Heat 3/4" Hot Brush. I have been using one for about 10 years or more! I am so addicted to it that I keep an extra new one in the closet for when the current one conks out (which is not often!) My favorite aspects of the product are that it heats up quickly, has various settings, and the brushes keep it from burning my skin!

I have used this product daily for years. I use conair hot rollers for the back of my hair and the curling brush for the sides and top. It does not snag my hair like other products have. It is quick and easy to use. I am purchasing another to keep at my daughter's house because I stay there to babysit. I only wish I could find them in a store.

I use this on a daily basis. I like the fact that the on/off switch is located such that you don't turn it off by mistake when you're using it. It gives me all the heat temps I need. It lasts a long, long time. I just buried my 3rd one and will order another to replace it. I can't imagine why they aren't in stores - I can only find the curling irons.

I love this product. I use it every day. I keep my hair short and permed and this is the only curling brush that will tame down the perm and make my hair look natural--not that permed look. I have been using a curling brush for over 20 years since a regular curling iron is difficult for me to use on short hair. And the instant heat is great--no long waits for it to heat up. I own two - one for home and one for travel. I don't leave home without it.
