I first bought this mirror around 10 years ago. I've never had any problems with it...never had to replace the bulb, but it does have a screw on either side of the mirror frame that allows bulb replacement. It travels with me everywhere I go, even on camping trips. I use the magnification side to apply makeup. I depend on it so much I just bought another one to take on a trip. Not trusting that it will survive in a checked bag on an airplane, I'm sending the spare ahead with friends in an automobile.

I expected this mirror to last several years. I averaged using it for about 30 minutes per day. After 18 months, it quit working. I couldn't get it apart to see if it was a burned out bulb or if it was a defect in the touch base that turns it on. But this doesn't matter. I shouldn't have had a problem with it this soon. Unfortunately, I have few choices in the oil-rubbed bronze that I need for my decor, so will probably have to buy another Conair. I have been satisfied with other Conair products, but I am very disappointed in this one.

I've had this mirror for about five years, use it every day, and the bulbs have never burned out. I use the magnifying side more often than the regular and would like to see a double sided mirror with two strengths of magnification rather than a regular strength.

It served my purpose fine but when the light bulbs burned out after only 2 months I could not find any replacements...Not a good way to do business!

This is a great mirror, even though the bulbs burnt out, I sent it back to Conair and they replaced the for free!! I am very satisfied with this mirror.

Light bulbs burn out very quickly. Cannot find replacements. Faulty design - Using 3.5 volt bulbs with 3.6 volt power supply or 4.5 volts of battery power. No wonder the bulbs don't last.
