IDEAL FOR THE OLDER WOMAN WITH ARTHRITIC HANDS. MUCH EASIER TO USE THAN THE ONES WITH THE THUMB CONTROL. GREAT FOR THAT TOUCH OF CURL IN SHORT HAIR. I USED MY PREVIOUS ONE FOR 6 YEARS..TIME FOR A NEW ONE SO I ORDERED TWO.

I've been using this model for many years. It's release button is easy to reach, especialy for women with small hands. The 5/8 inch barrel is the perfect size for styling my hair. It heats well and last a long time. I couldn't find it in any store. Thank goodness a friend went online and found it for me. Hopefully Conair will continue to make this model for years to come. They just need to sell it more in the big stores.

This is the only curling iron I've used for the last 30 years. It's because of the handle. It's small and I can easily press the button to release my hair from the curling iron. The others are too long and high for my short thumbs when I press the lever. I've had this curling iron forever (+6 years) it finally quit on me. I buy 2 everytime just incase Conair decides to quit making them. I won't use anything else.
