Needs a better quality cord - too small, twists and doesn't effectively swivel.
Stand needs to be bigger so the hot tip doesn't tilt and touch table/counter tops.

I like the comfortable handle, has large tip on the end so I don't burn my fingers (some curling irons have short tips) If I can't find this product in any store I search for it on line. Have compensated with others but this curling iron is by far the best. Only thing the swivel cord wore out on the end maybe from overuse.

I have used this curling iron everyday for the past 8 years. I have had no complaints until the spring broke. I was hoping to find a replacement spring because everything else is still in great condition. I highly recommend this product.

Handle comes off the curling iron which then in turn causes the screws to come out during use. Otherwise it is a good product. Heats up very quickly and is easy to use.

I have the 1-1/4" Instant Heat Curling Iron #CD82JCS purchased 5-26-07. I love the fact that it heats up so quickly. I absolutely HATE the 58" cord length!! My old Conair curling iron (still works) has a 72" cord. Since I use my curling iron in the bedroom I plug it into a power strip which sits on the floor along with my blow dryer. I'm 5'5" tall with chin length hair, but each time I use the curling iron, I have to squat down to see in the dresser mirror while trying to reach the ends of my hair. The auto shut off doesn't work.
