I usually shower at night so when i wake up in the morning this straightens my hair with ease. It heats up very quickly and it takes me about 15min and my hair is long and pretty thick. It gets rid of most but not all frizz. The only trouble i have with it are that it sometimes snags my hair but that could just be because its old. Overall, very good product that i would recommend to anyone.

this was okay. i mainly used it after i washed my hair, and it was partially wet. it's great for long hair, but it's nothing spectacular.

This was a great iron. It really did the job and I really liked what it did with my hair. I have natural wavy hair.I was really disappointed though that this iron only lasted 6 months at the most and then the heating element went out in it. I expected it to last longer for the price. I don't know if I would buy another one. I would be afraid it would happen again.

I use the Wet/Dry after I mostly blow dry my hair. It straightens with very little effort. I can go from my wavy hair to straight and it looks shinny and feels great. I love the wet/dry feature, in that I don't need completely dry hair, whan I want it straight. I chose this product over the professional stylist brands and am very happy with it's results for Home!

As with several other posted reviews, my unit stopped heating after only about 4 months. If you risk buying this, save the box and sales receipt so you can send it back when it quits. We did not do that and are now stuck with an expensive lesson in shopping for quality.

It only worked for a year then it stopped working,it didnt heat up. When you put it to wet it just makes it frizzy. It also damages your ends.

every morning i would plug it in but then one morning i plugged it in and i waited for like 30 minutes but it never heated up and i think i should get a refund or a new one because i only had it for not to long about three or four months.

It doesn't work. You have to go over same hair strand ten times and it still comes out waivy. I used to have another streightener for two years and when it broke I wanted to try Conair. Big mistake.

This was a very good product. It was a little wide for my short hair, I wish they made it in a thinner size. But it got hot fast and was very effective. But it broke today and every review I have read says that it breaks really quick. I am going to get mine refunded. I will continue to get mine refunded after this one breaks.

its a great iron. heats up super fast. the only problem is that it breaks down in about a year. i would definitely buy it again if i wasn't broke :)

I have bought two Conair straighteners, including this one. They work well, but the worst thing about them is that they don't last long. I have had mine for about 4 months and today it refuses to work. :(

This straightner works really really good, the best all of the ones I have used. The only problem is that is doesnt last that long and the cord is too, but I have to say that it works for every type of hair including thick. I should know because my hair is really hard to straighten so i recommend it

this product is amazing. nothing straightens my hairrr, and i meannn nothing except this straightening iron and i have thick, curly spanish hair and it gets very frizzy but this straighteing iron takes that all away.

I loved this flatiron!!! It was the best out of all I owned and even ones my husband owns (he's a hairdresser so I get to try first or get his leftovers!)! This made my long wavy hair into a soft, silky, non-frizzy, straight little flip that I love so much. Problem is that for the past week, it would not hold a temperature; red light would just keep blinking after green was on for awhile. Then this weekend I took it to a fancy wedding out of state, major rainstorm, lots of frizzies later and when I went to use my Conair flatiron, the red light blinked but as one other user mentioned, the plates remainded cold as ice. It wasn't even 1 year old. BUT I LOVED IT SO MUCH AND TRIED FINDING ONE TODAY AS SOON AS WE CAME HOME FROM TRIP AND COULD NOT FIND ONE IN A STORE, SO I AM ORDERING ANOTHER AND POSSIBLY A SECOND ONE TO HAVE AS BACKUP!!! I agree with the cord needing to be longer, and also the "shelf-life" of the product itself needs to be longer. Otherwise, Conair, please do not change a thing on this flat iron and make it available forever!!!!

I used to have longer hair and i loved how it worked on my hair. Since i am half black it was really hard for me to find the right flat iron. But it never made me have to redo my hair especially at school and since it gets really humid here in texas. Now that my hair is shorter i gave it to my mom...she loves it!

overall its a great working flat iron, it will heat up nicely, quickly and get hair super straight, i should know, i have extremely curly hair. but for some reason when i plugged it up today it stopped working, when it was working great yesterday. ill plug it in and all the light will do is blink and the plate wont heat up, they stay cold as ice. it has never been dropped and i have barely had it for four months, and a well quality flat iron shuld last way longer than that. im really dissappointed because i always need a flat iron, and they arent cheap! its like throwing money away. nowi have to go buy a new one, and it probably wont be another one of these, i dont want the same thing to happen again.

I've had this straightener for a year and it works great. I use it every day and it still heats up fast. The only problem is the cords too short, so it's awkward to use. I've owned four other straighteners, and none work as well as this one.

This product is well beyond my expectations!! I save myself 20 minutes each morning now that I don't have to blow dry my hair THEN straighten it. It's great and I highly recommend it!! Once I told all my co-workers about it they went out and bought it too....no joke!

I love it so far. I bought conair flat iron before and it would never straighten my hair. I am half black and korean. My hair is so frizzy and sooo thick. I never thought this would get through my hair. It works just as good as my flat iron that i bought [...]for $80. So far so good. I haven't tried to straighten my hair when its wet. Only thing i would say this needs is a longer cord other than that is great!!!

i bought this for my daughter that has really hard to manage hair. its the best one we have bought. but it has a shortige in the swirvel cord so it turns off alot. and the store were we bought it does not have this one in stock any more .so we will keep this one

I have VERY, VERY naturally curly hair that has been very resistant to other straighteners. This one flattens it pin straight and removes every trace of frizz. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has stubborn curls!

This is a good starter straightener. If you are looking for a less expensive, good quality straightener, then this is it. It works better than I thought it would for the price. Definitally recommen this for someone's first straightener.
