Comments about Conair Conair reg 2" Professional Ceramic Straightener:
This straightener was given to me as a present for Christmas 2009, it is now the summer of 2011 and a couple days ago I went to plug my straightener in to use as I always do and one morning and it would not heat up. It kept flashing red and green (indicating that it was heating up) for the longest time and would not get hot. I left it plugged in for over an hour and even tried different outlets for it. I did not keep the receipt or warranty for this device because the previous Conair products i have either purchased or received as gifts have NEVER quit working on me. I still own the very first Conair straightener I ever bought back in 2000 and it is still in working condition. I also have the another Conair straightener that I purchased in 2005 model CS15R 120-240V AC 60Hz 77W that works just like new. However I prefer the ceramic straighteners, which is why I wanted the model CS46J 120/240V AC 50/60Hz 250W, I eventually received this straightener in December 2009. This June (2011) that exact straightener would not heat up for me right before I was leaving for work even though I had used it the previous night. I have always been a Conair fan and refer all of my girl and guy friends to Conair products because of the quality they have provided for me. This last Conair straightener I had was the best straightener I have ever used, brands like Revlon, Aveda, Bedhead etc. could not compare to what this straightener did for my hair. I believe Conair has the best products for hair care and I will continue to use their products, (such as curling irons, hair dryers and trimmers) however I am disappointed in the poor quality of this straightener and DO NOT recommend this straightener for anyone who intends on using it for a long period of time i.e. months or years.

I have naturally curly hair, and live and work by the ocean. This little straightener truly works, and it takes half the time of others I had in the past. I don't know how I've functioned without it. Thank you!

This product worked amazingly, I have not had any problems with these flat irons. I would recommend these to anyone.
