This iron straightens my hair in like 5 minutes. I don't even separate it into sections. I just run it through and its not rough, its a really smooth process. I can literally make my hair look professionally done in a matter of minutes. It's great! I definitely recommend!

I have to say, I had my doubts about this product when I first saw it. I thought there was NO way that a flat iron with some rounded cooled plates could give my hair body, waves and curls as advertised. I bit the bullet YESTERDAY and splurged a little on my self for once and bought one. I have to say, after a little experimenting on my hair.. I LOVE IT! It took me a few minutes to figure it out and get the proper technique down, but after I did.. WOW! I had beautiful waves that gave me a sexy tossed look that I have been trying to create myself for years. The technique and the rotation of the iron does take some getting used to, but I promise you will NOT be sorry if you give it a try. I tried it on the low setting as suggested, and the curl fell after a few minutes, so I tried it again on the high setting as I normally use on any other iron, and the curl held. I guess it just depends on your hair type which heat setting you use. I cannot wait to use this product everyday, and store my flat irons, curling irons and other styling tools and just use one! Yay for more counter space in the bathroom ladies!

I love this curling iron. Right out of the box you can use this iron to straighten your hair. It takes awhile to learn how to use this iron to curl your hair, but once you learn, you get great results. It leaves my hair shiney, and makes my frizzy hair, tame, and makes nice soft curls.

This is a great product to add to a collection but I wouldn't recommend it to REPLACE a straighter or curling iron.
PROS:The curls turn out much better than a curling iron once you learn how. I've never been able to create that adorable head full of curls like a pin up girl like I can with this tool.B/c it's a combo tool, you can create many different looks by playing around with the positioning and angles of your wrists. Pretty much every day I have a new and amazing hairstyle!
CONS:It takes a while to figure out how to curl your hair with it b/c it's different than using a curling iron. Hair doesn't always flow over the tool smoothly when you try to curl it. It can be very difficult sometimes and when this happens the result is very unattractive! Hair also gets caught in the plastic and pulled out a lot - ouch! My biggest Con is that on it's highest setting it still isn't hot enough to straighten my hair. I've never had that problem and I've been through many models of straighteners. It's more time consuming to use than others because you need to take a lot of small sections of hair to get results for curling and straightening b/c it's not that powerful and it's very thin.

I'm a professional, but when my Colorado sister-in-law showed me her new styling iron, I could not believe the difference between it and any other styling tool I've used.

You need to make a small adjustment to the way you use this iron, but the curl is better, has more spring and lasts longer than ordinary irons. The straight sides of it are used the same way, which gives you the GREAT advantage of having your hair straight where you want it, yet curled, say, on the ends. Such as when styling a straight do with flipped-up ends; OR getting lift at the roots, but straight on the length, etc.

I have never used a more versatile iron, it's well worth the price, but if money is tight, you can watch for it to go on sale. I got it for one fourth off the average retail. I nabbed it and haven't looked back! I totally love it! Oh! And it heats in seconds and has an auto shut-off!

As a Black woman I buy loads of products for my naturally wavy hair. But I do use chemicals to straighten it and then I use the Conair flat iron with curling capabilities to finish the ends. I have searched high and low to replace my original Conair flat/curling iron (after 10 years of use)to no avail. But after going directly to the Conair website I've Found It! A metal rod/barrel all around is the key, not that red velvet or other materials some makers use. That is the only way to get a real curl. Iam thrilled!

My hair is unmanageable after I wash it. I was told a flat iron would help. I had never used one before, but with hardly any effort the Infiniti made me look like I had come out of the beauty salon. The curling iron is an added bonus.

I went out and bought this product yesterday after seeing the commercial. I have many irons. From flat to curling to hair setters. All great products,don't get me wrong but I wanted something faster and that does a two and one combo. Let me tell you people! THIS IS IT!All I can say is AMAZING!.I was a bit skeptical at first.Then I slipped it through the first couple strands of hairs and BAM! smooth curly and whatever you want it to be or do!
The best thing about it this is it's versatility.You can wear it straight,wavy or you can go super curly by sectioning the hair thinner.Whatever you want!
Also.For those people that have wavy or curly hair and always want the kinks out of the rood to mid shaft area,all you do is start at the root (so it flattens) and curve at the end (so it creates a nice body wave or even tight curl)
I did this yesterday night before going to a Christmas party and I was so please with the results! SERIOUSLY!! It's early morning now and my curls and hair looks the same as when I went to bed. This product is amazing. Being a hair dresser I have tried many products and this, VERY IMPRESSIVE!

My other straightener just wasn't working, I just got this on today as an early christmas gift and I already absolutly LOVE IT. I still have no clue how to curl yet but I'll figure it out. As for the straightening, I have very dry thick wavy hair and this straightener calms the frizz, straightens, and makes my hair look healthier than it's ever been. GET THIS PRODUCT

After seeing the commercials, and reading the reviews, I had to try this product out! As soon as I got it, I plugged it in and it was hot in less than 20 seconds! I was hesitant about the curling plates, but mastered my curling technique in seconds - straightening was simple! It left my hair shiny and healthy looking. It does the job with minimal effort, which means less heat, and less breakage. Take it from me...buy this product!!

I am so happy I purchased this product. It does the job as good as my 150.00 curling iron for half the price. My hair as a slight wave to it but I love straight hair with a little curl bunch to it. And this item does the job!

This product is AWESOME. I have really tight curls that always look wet and crunchy and have always wanted to do the light dry big curls. This iron really does the job. you have to play around with it to get it to work for your hair. But I'm recommending it for everyone i know. And on top of it all its a banging straightner. I have always used and chi and decided to go a different way.... Fore sure worth it!

I use this product for curling my hair. I have had it since the 13th of July and I LOVE it! Best thing I have EVER spent money on! I have naturally straight hair and this gives me the curls that I have wanted to achieve without having to go to a salon and I can curl my past shoulder length hair in 15 minutes flat! I have gotten compliments on how much volume I have and I owe it all to this!
And it makes my hair shine when I use it as a straightener. I have owned a Chi and I have to say this does just as good of a job if not better then that OVER a $100 Chi does :D
