I live in the very dry city of Denver. also I am an african American woman with very coarse hair I need lots of moisture! So I am so glad to be able to have such a product. I don't have alot of time to spend on my hair & this is the BEST straightner I have ever used!! I have very thick, coarse, wavy & curly hair. This straighter works like a dream. It heats up very quickly & doens't take a long time to use. My hair stays straight for many days without re-straightening it. I love it!!!

I am of African American and Caribbean descent. So I have very tightly curled, thick and long hair. I do not have the time do do my hair, but in this economy I cannot afford to go to the beauty salon. So when I saw this infomercial, after watching it for 3 months, I decided to try it.

I have tried so many hair straightners in the past since 1994 and this is the best one yet! People ask me all of the time if I have a relaxer and they comment on my hair being so shny and healthy looking.

I also use it on my two daughters hair (for special occassions) on the low settings. It was pricey but I paid it off in 3 payments and it was worth every dime!

I have tried the Chi's, the Instyler and the Maxiglide...none compare! This is definitely designed to help people with hair like mine!

I love this product, however the removable water reservoir (little plastic clips) on back side that hold it on to the straightner...one has broken. So the reservoir will not stay on anymore. I would like to replace the reservoir, does anyone know where I can do that?

works great! but the steam is a little inconsistent, i'd like for there to be more... otherwise, a good buy (even though it's a little expensive). my hair is really curly on the bottom and wavy on top and my hair ends up completely straight with a little flip at the end. the other thing is that it doesn't work very well on my bangs.

i don't actually have one of these yet but i am trying to decide over this and another chi. i had a chi for about 2 years and it just broke and i have been using my sisters cheep straightener. i have very wavy(almost curly) EXTREMELY thick hair that i hate. it already takes an hour or more to straighten my hair so i really need help on my decision!

I love this iron! My hair feels soft and full after using it. I noticed several people said it had a strong smell. I suggest using "distilled" water in it - no smell from it at all, and no hardwater build up.

I was skeptical at first. I have wavy hair which frizzes, and if I put mousse on it out of the shower I am curly. I had a different brand flat iron and it was terrible. I had to dry my hair as straight as possible, then use the flat iron on high passing at least 3-4 times per hair section. It took forever and the results were disappointing. I realized with this product that the problem with my old iron was the temperature was too low. I put the Infinity on the middle temperature setting and it works great in one single pass! I can even let my hair dry curly, then flat iron it later with great results - something I never could have done before. I am not too sure about the steam feature and the need for it. I use it about half the time and get similar results as without. I have had the product for 2 months and am very satisfied. I would definitely buy another.

This straightened is awesome!!!!!!! It recently wasn't working so well for me because I lost that cap the goes on the side of the straightener and I couldn't put any of the water in it to make my hair smooth...but I am getting a new cap so it will probably work great again! The only bad thing about it is that it makes my hair smell kinda weird...it's a awesome otherwise!!!!!!!!

Pretty happy. The smell is horible when you turn on the steamer though. Everything else works great. I don't really like the fact that i have to refill the steamer everytime I use it with that tiny hole in it.

This was different from my other strighteners and I was worried when I bought it from other strightener experiances but I strightened and it lasted all night and over night! It did cause my hair to get some static but just rub a dryer sheet on it and it will go away!

This product did wonders for my frizzy/damaged hair. It is easy to operate and results are amazing. My hair was instantly shiny and the straightener didn't leave any "bumps". When I finish using the product it feels as if I just walked out of the salon (very smooth, silky). I loved it so much, I tried it on my family and friends. If you're considering buying this prodduct you defenitely should because the results are great and it has an effect on every type of hair. Also, it's not hard to operate. The only problem I had was static cling, but a bit of hairspray will fix that.

I have really thick hair that is straight but is like a bush on my head and this makes it lay nice and flat, gets rid of the fly aways and leaves my hair shiny. My hair is also color treated and this hasn't damaged my color at all. All others that I have tried either didn't get hot enough or changed the color of my hair. I love the travel case and being able to put it right into my suitcase still hot. I also really like the 'teeth' that help keep the hairs running through it straight.
I saw that someone had complained about the smell, mine only smelled the first time it got hot then the smell went away.
It heats up fast, has different temperatures for different types of hair, can be packed away while still hot and has steam.

I just got this iron yeserday and as soon as i got home I tryed it out and feel in love with it and beliee me... With my old flat iron it would suilly take me over an hour jus to get it a LITTLE straight and it would take over 5 time to get t as straight a I got it te 1st time I used this and this one i only took about 30 min. and a full head touch up only took about 10-15 mins. Which is a MAJOR diffrence. And I have VERY CURLY AND VERY THICK HAIR and it worked amaizingly. it was also very easy to use.

This hair streightener was very easy for me to use adn with my extreamly poofy hair is made it beautiful in like 20 minutes!I got it for Christmas and that morning me and my aunt were using it and we all loved it! I just received this straightener as a gift and I am thoroughly impressed! Not only does it heat up quickly, but it is way faster to use than my previous straighteners. My hair feels soft and silky after using it rather than dry and brittle (like other products leave my hair.) Best straightener I've ever had. Like I said I got it as a gift, but after seeing how much it costs, i still think it's a great product and worth the extra money.

Both my teenage son and I have thick wavy hair. We are now both using it and fighting over it too. We find it speeds up our morning routines as it's probably 50% faster to do hair then those other products out there. My son says his friends thought he had a professional salon straightening job done it looked so good with no static since we live in a damp climate on West Coast. Very quick heat up time. I found it heavy at first, but got used to it after a few tries. Not crazty about filling the water tank as it was a challenge at first. Would like to see it easier in next model. Overall, I'm glad I bought it even though it's pricey.....

After I wash my hair, it is like I have a fuzzy hat on my head. I could never find anything that could tame my hair. One night I was flipping thru channels, I saw this flat iron being sold on the TV, they were showing the consumers how it works, and I was like it can't be that easy they have never use it on hair like mine. When I got this I did not use it. I put it away with my other flat irons. After a week, I washed my hair and notice the ends were frizzy. I thought this was a good time to use this flat iron. I thought I would be disappointed, but I was not!! I could not beleive how soft and straight my hair was. I used it on my daughter's hair and my granddaugters. As a woman of color, it is hard to find a product on line that will work so well on our hair without going to a hair dresser. This product really works.It does what it say. This is the best straightener i have ever bought. I have curly hair and every day i straighten my hair and all day & every day it's ALWAYS straight for hours. My other straightener doesn't not do that and it's more expensive. Another thing that's really good is that it's repairs your hair because of the steam. I used to have many split ends and now not one and i haven't cut my hair in a long time. I got a great deal and it works great. I think everything is perfect about it.

I am so skeptical when it comes to so called "miracle products." I am Hispanic, and my hair is somewhere between curly/wavy and crazy.... It's pretty thick too. I didn't use my iron for about 2 weeks after I purchased it. I was just too afraid to be disapointed if it didn't work. When I did finally use it, I was soooo happy. This is ABSOLUTELY the BEST straightening Iron I have ver used! I got my hair done within 15 minutes where usually with other irons it takes an hour or longer. My hair turned out so soft and shiny.
