I bought this for travel and found that I need to plug it in every day. I noticed that the brush slows down when brushing the back teeth.

I have Gingivitis that runs on the family. I nearly had a gingivectomy at the age of 24, instead, I started to use an earlier version of this device. Conair, please never stop making these, I am now 48 and this took my gum pockets from a nasty 10 millimeters, down to what I was told was an impossible 4 which is nearly normal. Using a Sonicare made it worse, the interplak devices which have rotating individual bristles, used with an anti-septic mouthwash, has given my relief from the chronic condition of gingivitis.
The only cons are, Conair always stops selling the one I am currently using, and doesn't sell replacement batteries/handles, so I have to buy a new replacement when they wear out, also, they do not like 220V as in overseas, fries the batteries in one shot. Most of the DPI brushes I've had died in an overseas trip, even with the converter, don't exactly know why, but happens every time. Don't take it overseas.

I use this brush twice a day, and the fact that this is a durable product and that it has a built in timer of two minutes helps me feel and know that I am brushing properly! I have no complaints about this product and will buy one for my husband for Christmas!
