I purchased this as a backup/alternative for a heavier rechargeable unit. I like being able to easily change the batteries if they run down before I'm done with a trim. Even though the instructions recommend using alkaline AA batteries, I use rechargeable NiMH batteries which I can easily swap with a freshly charged pair. The trimmer works fine but occasionally pulls hair. More passes are required to get an even trim than when using my more expensive set. Still, this product is good for daily light trim and touch-up or for when my more expensive trimmer is not available. It's light, easy to use and has a good shape that fits well in your hand. The power button is well-placed. I found the ear/nose hair attachment to be very easy to change once I reviewed the instructions. Very handy!

After reading the comments and trying to connect the nose and ear trimmer I was a little disapointed. Then I realized that the whole cutting head must be removed; which, is easily done by pushing forward. The directions need to be better written, with some pictures. Hopefully this review will help some one else like my self. Other than that I am happy with the trimmer

It is correct that the instructions could be better, but with a bit of holding it this way and that, looking at how the attachment is made it becomes obvious that there are no screws or threads, just snap the one head off and snap the other in place!

I use this frequently. My beard is always neat and trim thanks to this. For those wondering how to attach the nose/ear trimmer, all you do is pull off the main trimmer and then just click the nose/ear trimmer into place. It's kind of difficult to get off.

When it is time to really trim and detail the shift blade does not come to the end of the blade in order to give you and nice clean trim.

I bought this product to trim my nose hair. After spending long minutes studying the manual and searching fruitlessly online for instruction on how to attach the nose trimmer, i gave up. Was this ever designed to work? Or do you guys imagine that everyone would know how to get this working? You guys just stripped me of my funds. I'll look for something else.

Well, maybe we are idiots, but neither of us could figure out how to get the nose/ear hair attachment on. No instructions given for the attachments, and I can't find it anywhere online. Wow. We were excited because it seemed like a great value, but it doesn't seem to be "trimming" anything, and the attachment doesn't work. I wonder if the pharmacy gives refunds...

Anyone have a better suggestion for my boyfriend's back hair?

I use the trimmer once a week. Still haven't figured out how the nose/ear trimmer attaches - . Otherwise a nice product.
