A fine machine but don't lose the manual

I suffer from tinitus and a low threshold of tolerance when it comes to the ghastly musical selections of the university students in the next building. Plus, my hyperactive mind has trouble transitioning to sleep mode. My Conair SU7 takes care of these problems by lulling me to the sounds of nature. Sleep comes a lot more quickly. And when I drift toward waking in the middle of the night, the always-on Conair once again puts me under. An added benefit: Our dog, when left alone for a few hours, barks at sounds he hears outside. Set at the right volume level, our SU7 masks exterior sounds and lulls HIM to sleep also!

I love that I can turn the sound on and it stays on as long as I like. The clock face gets a bit bright for me but overall it a great product. I've recommended it to friends/family already.

The only complaint that I have is that I wish the sounds were louder, I can be a hard sleeper and need a loud alarm. I prefer to wake up to soothing sounds rather than the awful buzzing of a traditional alarm clock. I like that there are several sounds to choose from.

I love this radio/sound machine. My son goes to sleep everyday using the running stream sounds. He is so used to it that when we go to the beach, he usually falls asleep from the sounds of the waves. It is easy to travel with and we take it with us all of the time. I also like that you can change the brightness of the clock.

My only complaint with this is that the blue screen is very bright at night and lights up my entire bedroom. Also, I am nearsighted and cannot read the time because the blue screen is so bright. The contrast button does not seem to make much difference in reading the time, either. If only the time were displayed in a different color, this would be the ultimate alarm clock for me!
